The breakfast included a waffle maker!

Plenty of food for a continental breakfast.

It was away from all the congestion within Mason. More in a country setting. The staff prepared a room on ground floor for us when they found out It was difficult for me to climb stairs.

Rooms were not cleaned, no clean towels or washcloths, no soap to bathe. Garbage not emptied. Beds not made. When staff was informed of the problem they reported the cleaning staff did not come in that day. If guests are staying then cleaning services should be provided. Breakfast food was not cooked . We ate around 8:30 one morning and 9:00 but the sausage and eggs were not cooked either morning.. There was no regular coffe creamer for coffee only favored creamers. The pastries were dry. The waffles stuck to the pan and came out in pieces.

The hotel felt very homey, and the staff were super friendly.

We greatly enjoyed the secluded location and how clean the place was kept. Updated rooms with 2 queen beds and pleasant staff, everything was great. Fabulous restaurant served local specialties.

It did have an indoor pool that we used.

The toilet didn't flush at all the entire stay, which was gross. No free breakfast was served almost an hour after advertised and we had to leave without eating. Overall condition of this hotel is in decline.

The customer service stands out, especially with the owner being actively involved. Clean rooms, good quality bedding, and a flat screen TV enhance the stay. The indoor pool, albeit small, provided a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel shows signs of needing cosmetic upgrades, and the breakfast selection is somewhat limited.

The location to our family we visited for Thanksgiving was excellent. The staff was friendly.

The first morning we went down for our breakfast, it was not ready and it was after 7:00am. We had to ask in order to get our breakfast. The next mornings all was great.

Free wi-fi was great. Laundry facilities helped with our kids' mess. Limited breakfast seating.

The gentleman that checked us in was very couteous, helpful, polite and friendly!

The lady the next morning......when my daughter and I rang the bell for towels for the pool, she yelled from the laundry room that she would be right there to help us; however it took her several minutes to come to us. The pool hours were terrible. Upon checkout, the same lady took over 5 minutes, still not showing up at the desk after yelling from another room that she was there and would be right up to assist us.....finally, my husband rang the buzzer again; yelled that the key cards would be on the counter because we were checking out and we had to leave.

Room cleanliness could use more attention!!! The carpet was worn and dirty, and thin towels didn't meet expectations. The caution tape around the pool left me confused about usability!!! Fridge availability would have greatly improved my stay!!!

The room offered plenty of space, with a convenient mini-fridge for storing drinks-a real treat after a long day. Breakfast had a waffle maker, even if options were limited.

The overall vibe felt dated, with older decor and a pool that was quite small and not very clean. Noise from other rooms could be an issue, as the walls didn't do a great job at blocking sound, but the air conditioning unit helped drown some of that out.

The complimentary popcorn and cozy lounge area made my evenings so enjoyable after a long day. I also loved the mini-library nook and game room, both perfect for unwinding. The breakfast choices were a bit limited, but it was still a nice way to kickstart the day 😊
